Undergraduates

Once you have embarked on a university degree there are still choices to be made. In the UK there’s stiff competition for most jobs, so just having a degree on your CV isn’t enough to make you employable.

Undergraduate degrees with the same (or similar) titles may vary widely in their content. By choosing particular modules or opting for a year in industry during your study, you can often tailor your course to suit your interests and aspirations.

These choices allow you to have a range of experiences whilst at university, and it’s important to consider your choices carefully. Taking advantage of the opportunities available to you whilst at university will boost your employability and put you in a strong position when applying for jobs after graduation.

Explore the links in this section for tips on making these choices.
